As the days pass, the more international people I run into. For a good part of this quarter I've had many Latin/Spanish encounters, and I'm always left walking away translating the conversation I just had into Spanish. It's only been more recently have I managed to respond/start small talk in their native tongue. A good other part of the quarter deals with Korean or Japanese. It's becoming more apparent how international SCAD really is --IT'S KILLING ME!! This afternoon some Frenchmen came into Finishline, and picked up on some of the numbers they discussed. I wanted SO badly for all my high school French to come to the forefront and just have a conversation with them about what they were thinking about purchasing. I'm killing myself with this language barrier. Someone get me some Rosetta!!
